Türkiye için Alternatif Bir Enerji Üretimi Altyapı Çözümü – ‘Organize Elektrik Üretimi Bölgeleri’

Abstract

The Turkish electricity sector is phasing a slow but inevitable transformation from a classical thermal power technologies dominated generation contribution towards a renewable energy sourced power generation contribution. The infusion of the renewable energy sourced power generation capacities is challenging the market to both in technical and financial manner. The Turkish transmission network operator TEİAŞ is confronted with serious fluctuating loads of the RES capacities. The quasi-island transmission network and quality wise weak maneuvering abilities of the grid, escalate such challenge. This paper is introducing a mid and long term solution to the challenges of today and is addressing a future perspective to establish an engineered power generation infrastructure which is not deemed to be vacillating. The topic is addressed under the headline An Alternative Power Generation Infrastructure Solution For Turkey – ‘Organized Electricity Generation Zones’. There is no question that any future energy plan shall be supportive to and consider the increase of RES capacities. The OEGZ model is incorporating cycling CCPP capacities and low cost environmentally friendly ultra super critical parameters based ‘cleaner coal’ thermal power capacities; which shall complement the challenges of the RES’s.
