Abstract

Energy Efficiency Department of GDRE is responsible body for the implementation of issues within the context of the Energy Efficiency Law and related regulations, such as increasing and supporting energy efficieny, setting up energy efficiency consulting companies (EVD), forming Energy Managent Systems, promoting energy efficiency investments (Productivity Enhancement Project (VAP) and Voluntary Agreements), increasing energy efficiency in transportation and buildings, preventing the sale of inefficient appliances, increasing awareness and giving efficiency certificate to the unlicensed cogeneration facilities. Combine heat and power generation is an energy efficient implementation for industrial establishment and buildings that consume both heat and power during the year such as hospitals, hotels and large buildings etc.

Biographical Sketch

I was born in Kayseri at 1987. I have completed my primary and high school education in Kayseri. I have completed my bachelor degree in Electricity Engineering department at Yildiz Technical University in 2009. I have completed my master degree in Energy Institute of Istanbul Technical Univercity in 2011. After military service I worked for TEİAŞ as an electrical engineer between 2011 and 2013. I have been working as Assistant Expert for Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources for three years.
