Biography
Born in 1968 in Artvin, Turkey, Mehmet Nazım Yavuz completed his secondary education at Istanbul Erkek Lisesi and received his undergraduate degree from the Faculty of Business Administration at Istanbul University.
In 1998, he founded Aktif Yalıtım ve Mühendislik Hizmetleri, through which he began offering import, distribution, and implementation services in the construction sector. In 2003, he established Multiplan Yalıtım Sistemleri, a company specializing in the production of PVC-based waterproofing materials. The company quickly became a prominent player in the industry and was acquired in 2019 by the Norway-based Protan Group.
In 2015, Yavuz founded OC3 AG in Germany, where innovative solar panels were developed. These technologies have since been introduced to both the Turkish and global solar energy markets via MNY Enerji. Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Board at Soline A.Ş., a domestic manufacturer of EVA and POE-based encapsulation materials—key components in photovoltaic panel production.
In addition to his industrial endeavors, Yavuz is a Board Member at Florawise, a company focused on intelligent energy management systems. He is also actively involved in several prominent sectoral organizations, serving on the boards of ÇATIDER (Association of Roof Industrialists and Businesspeople), GÜNDER (International Solar Energy Society—Turkey Section), and Turkey IMSAD (Association of Turkish Construction Material Producers).
He is fluent in English and German.
