Abstract

More than half of Turkey’s electricity can be supplied from renewables since we have highly active and excited investors on the subject. To keep them in the game we should take some steps regarding energy transition.  The solar Energy investors’ expectations can be broken down to 2 main elements:

• Long-term energy planning.

• Business and finance models.

At today’s agenda YEKA auction model, hybrid projects, and YEKDEM are the most important subject for the investors.

Biography

Cem Ozkok graduated from Management Engineering in 1984 in Hamburg University.

He started his professional career in 1984 and worked as Project Engineer in OZKOKLER A.S. His experience gained abroad, respectively carried him to become Project Manager, Vice President and finally Board Member in OZKOKLER A.S.

Cem Ozkok joined GURIS Group in 1993. He is still working as Vice President and Board Member in Guris Group, as well The Chairman of the Board of Directors of GÜYAD since 2017. Besides, he is also a member of Board of Directors of HESİAD.
