EMİR KOZİKOĞLU

Biography

Emir Kozikoğlu holds an undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and a graduate degree in Economics & Finance from Boğaziçi University. Emir started his career in Doha, Qatar, working as an HSE Engineer in a large infrastructure project. He joined the Climate Change and Sustainability team of a Big 4 consulting firm in 2014. Leaving as a Senior Consultant, he joined the consulting line of Turkey’s leading private development bank. He was most recently a Manager in the Sustainability function of a global consulting firm in their Istanbul office before joining the Sustainability Finance Team in Garanti BBVA in 2022. Emir has a combined sustainability and consulting experience of more than 8 years; including sustainable finance, climate, environmental and social risk management in the financial sector.
