Biography

Evren Aktaş is a Mechanical Engineer from İstanbul Technical University (2002). He has acquired his M.A. degree in Economics and Finance from Boğaziçi Üniversity in 2005. Evren has started his career in Borusan Power Systems as a Cogeneration Systems Project Engineer in 2002. In the following years, he has worked in Strategic Planning and 6 Sigma Project Management positions. He has been working for Borusan EnBW Energy since 2009. He has worked as a Project Manager and later on as the Project Management Office Manager until 2022. Currently he is the Power Plants Assistant General Manager of Borusan EnBW Energy responsible for both development and investment of new power plants and operation and maintenance of the running power plants. Evren is married and has a 12 year old daughter called Deniz.
