HAKAN ARAS

Biography

Hakan Aras completed his undergraduate studies at the Department of Economics, Faculty of Political Sciences of Ankara University and his MBA at Southeastern Louisiana in Business Administration.

In April 2016, he studied Strategic Financial Analysis, Business and Strategy at Harvard Business School. He is currently pursuing his studies in Strategic and Financial Leadership at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Hakan Aras started his career as an academician at the Southeastern Louisiana University, and later worked in Norbeck Petroleum, Schwamb & Associates energy consultancy in the US. After his return to Turkey he worked in Sitebank Treasury department, and “Budget Control Department and Commercial Strategy,” “Budget and Control Directorate” and “Financial Control Directorate” at Avea Iletisim Hizmetleri A.Ş. Lastly, he worked as the Assistant General Manager of Financial Affairs at Enerya Enerji A.Ş., a joint venture between STFA and Partners Group. Since 2017, Hakan Aras has been working as Finance and Financial Control Assistant General Manager at Borusan EnBW Energy.
