SEDAT AKAR

Biography

Born in 1970 in Istanbul, Sedat Akar graduated from Moda High School, In 1993, he graduated from Trakya University, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Then he completed Business Administration master at Marmara University. First began his business life as a Brand Manager at Fenis Aluminium company. He joined Topkapi Endüstri in 1996. He managed sales, project design, construction, services and after-sales services of natural gas and biogas-fueled GE-Jenbacher gas engine cogeneration systems. So far, he and his team built around 500 MWel  power plants in various places in Turkey, He issued many articles in technical journals. He is founder of the Bioenergy Association and Board Member of Cogeneration Association of Turkey.

He works as General Manager in Topkapı Endüstri. He is married and father of 2 children.
