Biography

Graduating in 1989 from Eastern Mediterranean University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Tolga Murat Özdemir started his career at Schneider Electric in 1991 and gained significant experience by assuming strategic responsibilities in different regions between 1992 and 1994. In 1994, he realized his entrepreneurial vision and founded Kontek Otomasyon A.Ş. in Izmir. Under Özdemir’s leadership, Kontek has reached a leading position in the fields of industrial automation and product sales by collaborating with engineering companies. Özdemir, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kontek Energy Group, creates added value in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency by providing comprehensive solutions in the energy sector. The company provides “Complete Engineering Solutions” to investors by combining energy generation and efficiency solutions with digital automation, monitoring-reporting technologies and engineering contracting services. Taking Kontek Energy’s know-how and experience in the sector even further, he launched the Maxxen Energy brand in order to store and efficiently use renewable energy resources, which are indispensable for energy.
