YAVUZ AYDIN

Biography

Yavuz Aydin graduated from Istanbul Technical University Mechanical Faculty as Aeronautical Engineer in 1981. He has worked in Turkish Air Force and Ministry of Defense for 18 years in aircraft and engine overhaul facilities in Turkey and F-16 Aircraft System Program Office in USA.

Aydin joined General Electric Energy Services in 1999 as Sales manager and has become Area Sales Leader in 2003. In this term, he has signed multiple large volume Long Term Service Agreements on combined cycle and cogeneration plants until 2007. He has then took Account Director role in 2007 to cover Turkey and Israel. In 2015, He moved to GE Gas Power Systems  as Country Sales Manager. Aydin, left GE in Jan2017 and became major partner of ENERKO Ltd of Turkey. ENERKO currently represents CMI of Belgium in Turkey and surrounding geography. CMI manufactures Boilers for Combined Cycle Natural Gas power plants.

He is currently  Chairman of COGEN-Turkish Association and member of Executive Board of COGEN-Europe Association in Belgium.
