Biographical Sketch

Rıdvan Aktürk was born in Erzincan in 1970. She received a master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Middle East Technical University in 1994. Holding an MBA degree from the London Middlesex University Business School, Mr. Aktürk has experience of more than 24 years in engineering and production in power generation, transfer and distribution equipment and systems as well as enjoying expertise on engineering and manufacturing, oil and gas transportation, processing, storage, and trade. Mr. Aktürk joined Çalık Enerji in 2006. Serving as Çalık Enerji’s Director for Energy Pipelines and Refinery he was appointed as General Manager of YEDAŞ in April 2016. Aktürk also serves a Board Member at ARAS EDAŞ and Kosova Electricity Distribution Company. Aktürk is fully proficient in English.
